Rev Karlo Kolong, A Sudanese Author of Resilience and Determination

Rev Karlo Kolong’s life story is a testament to his resilience and determination to overcome challenges and create positive change in his community. Despite facing rejection at birth and growing up in a family of limited means, Karlo became the breadwinner and the only educated member of his family. He is a well-known figure from Sudan in religious education, peace-building, and religion.

Karlo's Multifaceted Contributions: Musician, Author, and Leader

Karlo is not only a peace-builder but also a musician and author. He has produced several video songs in various languages, including English, Arabic, and his traditional Tennet of South Sudan language. His books offer new ideas to help individuals build and comfort their futures. Karlo had a registered NGO, the Evangelical Relief and Development Association (ERDA), which operated in South Sudan and received funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to sponsor ox plow and tailoring projects. Karlo’s experiences and accomplishments make him a respected leader in his community and a source of inspiration for individuals looking to make a difference.
